Gina Mastio is an Australian textiles artist with a lifelong adoration of eucalyptus trees, rocky outcrops, textured and coloured bark, the scent and beauty of the leaves.
All lend never ending inspiration, while leaves, bark and flowers give generously the dye sources for her one of a kind sculpted clothing.
Using natural fibres, merino wool and plant dyes, each unique piece echoes the beauty and texture of the Australian bush.
She has exhibited in France and Australia, had a wedding dress in the New York times and appeared on Gardening Australia, where she explored plant dyes with Costa Georgiadis.
