





JEANUIS: Limited Edition - Kirry Toose
Transforming the everyday, the worn and discarded into the wearable, through the deconstruction and recycling of previously loved denims.
Working with your personal themes or concepts,
reimagine your wardrobe through play, with re-cutting and assembling, embellishing, insertion and addition. Have lots of fun by the breaking boundaries; whilst learning to problem solve through design, extending your sewing skills, exploring numerous techniques and products.
Students will experiment and explore the many varied and practical design options and their potential, technical skills - sewing, fabric manipulation, printing, knitting, crochet – to name a few.
The workshop is especially useful for those undertaking a major project in Art or Textiles.
Numerous, graded patterns will be available- with the option to make one or more items of clothing.
Contemporary Overall shaped bodice, with the design option of pants or skirt.
Baggy and beautiful fun pants,
Squared Art Jacket and/or Tops
Weird and wonderful Neckpiece- just for fun!
