In this workshop students will extend themselves exploring Jewelry, Sculpture, Basketry, Vessels, Mixed media, and Personal adornment using endless surface techniques and possibilities….. natural materials, metals, found items, papers, wax, and many alternative surfaces will be explored through this experimental workshop.

Bring your “in progress” pieces, budding ideas, materials of choice and be prepared to weave, rivet, fold, forge, wrap, assemble and create your way to jewelry, baskets, books, vessels and sculpture.

Once we have a surface….. then be ready to collage, wax, embed, layer, patina, burn, enamel, rust, color, stitch, paint, and embellish.   Students will be able to try new techniques to incorporate into existing work or explore many new directions.

Students will also have a chance to challenge themselves, problem solve, explore their work, have many laughs and play hard!

This workshop allows students to dive into a week of creativity.

All levels welcome.
