  • In the case that you need to cancel your booking, you may be charged a fee based on our cancellation policy.

    80% of paid fees will be refunded for cancellations after 1st February 2024.

    50% of paid fees will be refunded for cancellations after 1st April 2024.

    Cancellations after 1st July 2024 are non-refundable.

    In the case of workshop cancellations full refunds with be provided if an alternative workshop cannot be offered to attendee’s satisfaction.

  • At Tafta Inc we like to encourage newbies, emerging artists and old craftys to our event and every year have several scholarship recipients. We offer scholarships for students who wish to improve their skills, materials knowledge or arts practice. Our scholarships assist with the cost of the class, accomodation and meals.

    If you wish to apply for a scholarship please submit the application form to us via info@taftainc.com.au.

  • Each year Tafta Inc raises money to fund a scholarship program, allowing students to attend our event who may not have the financial means.

    In the past we have held initiatives like Dames of Denim, Aprons, and 15x15.

    Artists and attendees are encouraged to create a piece of work within the theme and pieces are auctioned at Geelong.

  • How many workshops can I select?

    You select one workshop for the entire week.

    What time do the classes start?

    The classes start on the Monday to Friday from 9-4pm with a lunch break 12-1pm. Wednesday is a half day, 9-12pm. You are able to work in the classroom that afternoon if you wish, but your tutor will not be present.

    What time do the tutor talks start?

    4:30pm sharp.

    Can I be picked up from the train or bus station on my arrival to the event?

    No, you will need to arrange your own transport to and from the event.

    Will lunch be provided on the Sunday when I arrive at the event?

    No, Lunch is not provided on the Sunday, your first meal provided is Dinner on the Sunday night.

    Is there an ATM on Campus?

    There is no ATM on campus you will need to bring cash for the Bar and Art Market.

  • Geelong Fibre Forum holds a party night on the Wednesday evening to celebrate a week of inspiration, learning and creation. The party includes dinner and everyone is encouraged to dress up!

    The 2024 theme is Vintage.

    Stay tuned for our 2025 Party Night theme!

    On the Friday evening, there is a student exhibition to showcase the works from the week.
