Pam lives and works in the Blue Mountains area west of Sydney, an area renowned for its natural beauty and this inspires her daily.

Her main medium is wool, sometimes combined with silk or cotton. Using both natural and dyed colours depending on the piece.

More recent years have seen her work gravitate to sculptural pieces. She enjoys the challenge of working in a medium that begins amorphsc,  where the planning is everything. The control of shrinkage, strength and form, and yet still never exactly sure of the outcome till the end. The innovations and techniques, using the qualities inherent in the wool, are a result of her 23 years working with this medium.

Pam tours and teaches internationally in Europe, Canada, USA and also online. She exhibits in many regional and other galleries, last year winning the Australian Contemporary Textile Award, “Seed Stitch” at the The Australian design Centre.
